KAMAKURA WOODEN GETA MINIATURE DECORATIVE ORNAMENT THE GREAT BUDDHA
Here is a unique item which appears to be some sort of ornament decorative piece of miniature wooden geta shoes promoting Kamakura and The Great Buddha. One end has a loop, so it could be used as an ornament. The other end has red tassles and two little bells that ring when shaked.
One of the shoes has an imprint of the Great Buddha of Kamakura. There is no indication as to who made this piece or when it was made. Each shoe measures a little over 2 1/4 inches in length and about 9/16th of an inch at the highest point of the heel.
