HAIDEN HALL OF WORSHIP MEIJI SHRINE OFFICE POSTCARD

A vintage color postcard showing a photo view of the Haiden hall of worship which is located in front of the main shrine at the Meiji Jingu shrine located in Shibuya, Tokyo. This postcard was printed in Japan and issued by the Meiji Jingu Shrine Office. The postcard measures about 4 1/4 inches wide and a little over 5 3/4 inches high.

On the back of the postcard it gives the following details:

Haiden (Hall of Worship in front of the Main Shrine) The Main Shrine set among brilliant pine trees is the quintessence of shrine architecture yet incorporates modern construction techniques. The Haiden, or Front Shrine, can hold about one thousand worshippers.
